Joseph A. ‘Moe’ Catalone, 73

FULTON, NY – Joseph A. “Moe” Catalone, 73, of Fulton, died Sunday March 18, 2012, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Syracuse.

He was born in Oswego to the late Samuel and Ann (Zeno) Catalone.

Mr. Catalone was a United States veteran having served in the Army as a paratrooper from 1962 to 1964.

He retired from the Pipefitters’ Local #73.

He was also a union member of the Laborers’ Local #214.

Mr. Catalone was a member of the Fulton Elks’, Oswego VFW Charles C. Crisafulli Post, and Dante Alighieri.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Judy Catalone of Fulton; three children, Kristi Catalone of Fulton, Rhonda Pierce of Fulton and Bruce Pierce Jr., of Hannibal; one brother, Francis (Cass) Catalone of Oswego; one sister, Marguerite Calderone of Oswego; three grandchildren, Tyler, Kitty and Vharie; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Stephen Wirkes.

Burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal.

Calling hours will be conducted 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
