Joseph Ambrosetti, 88

Joseph Ambrosetti, 88, of Oswego died Saturday in University Hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Ambrosetti was born in Oswego the son of the late Thomas and Maria (Molinari) Ambrosetti. He was a sheet metal worker for Local #58 of Syracuse working at the Nuclear Plants in Scriba. Mr. Ambrosetti served during World War II in the United States Airforce in the 8th Division of the 457th Bomb Group. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Oswego. Mr. Ambrosetti was predeceased by his wife Margaret Ambrosetti in 1994.

He is survived by his children Dianna Ambrosetti of Oswego, Barbara Ambrosetti of Oswego, Joseph Ambrosetti of Oswego, brother Sam (Mary) Ambrosetti of Oswego, and nieces and nephew.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego.
