FULTON, NY – Juanita Dobbin VanLinder, 101, of Fulton, died Monday January 6, 2014, at Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton.
Juanita was a homemaker and worked at Mimi’s Drive Inn as a light cleaner for 30 years, retiring in 2004.
She was an animal caretaker and was known to take in stray animals.
Juanita was predeceased by her husband, Byron A. VanLinder, in 1966; her daughters, Nancy VanLinder, in 1947, Merlin Townsend, in 1997 and Sally Leubner in 2013; two sons, Lee VanLinder, in 2010, and Carl VanLinder in 2012.
She is survived by two daughters, Patti (Rodney) Leubner of Aurora and Irene Hall of Oswego; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
Graveside services will be in the spring at Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander.
