Julia Z. Wallace, 92

FULTON, NY – Julia Z. Wallace, 92, passed away at Oswego Hospital on Saturday August 15, 2015.

She was born in Fulton, to the late John and Mary (Kunicka) Zanewych.

Mrs. Wallace has remained a life resident of Fulton.

She retired from Nestles Co., Fulton after 50 years of service.

She was a hard worker.

Mrs. Wallace’s first love was her family.

She also enjoyed reading and taking drives.

In her later years she especially enjoyed taking a ride and ending her excursion with a meal at Mimi’s, Fulton.

Mrs. Wallace was predeceased by her siblings: Mike, Willy, James and Peter Zanewych, Mary Barton and Anna Robinson.

She is survived by her children: Sharon Wallace-Kerfien of Fulton, Floyd W. (Carol) Wallace of Fulton, Joseph (Jean) Wallace of Greece, NY, and Gary (Renae) Wallace of Fulton; sister, Estelle Holmes of Fulton; sister-in-law, Charlene Zanewych; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately.

Burial will be held privately in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, has care of the arrangements.
