June Barnhart, 74; of Fulton died peacefully Tuesday at her home.
She was born in West Monroe, NY to the late Clarence and Florence (Wescott) Hoyt Sr. She has been a resident of Fulton for most of her life.
Mrs. Barnhart retired from Plainville Turkey Farm after several years of employment. She was a member of the Red Hat Club, and participated in community chorus groups. She truly enjoyed singing. Mrs. Barnhart was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur Barnhart in 2000.
She is survived by 4 daughters: Sheryl (James) Richardson of Weedsport, NY, Suzan Basile of Auburn, NY, Roxanne Webster of Fair Haven, NY, and Shirley (Leonard) Calkins of Fulton, NY, 2 siblings: Delbert Hoyt of Central Square, NY, and Bertha Watson of Cicero, NY, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, close friend Angelo DePietro of Utica, NY and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral service. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours will be conducted 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W, 2nd St. S. Fulton.
