FULTON, NY – This Saturday, K-Rock 100.9 – 106.5 will present an affordable, family fun night of high-speed racing on Girl Scouts night.
Hitting the speedway will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds/SUNY Canton Sportsman/NAPA Late Models/E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinders plus Pro Race Cars Mod Lites.
Last week, the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds put on an instant classic that still has fans talking.
The 35-Lap main featured two and three wide racing all over the speedway that saw Danny Johnson pick up the win by less than a second over Billy Decker.
The SUNY Canton Sportsman saw a first time winner when Tyler Meeks took the big win over a stout field of cars.
Alan Fink showed he will be a threat every week in the NAPA Late Models as he picked up the opening night victory.
Shannon Pitcher looked to have the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman feature in hand until the late going. Amy Holland was able to catch Pitcher setting up a last lap battle that Pitcher won by less than a second.
Tim Dunn made the haul from Watertown pay off as he made a last-lap pass getting by race-long leader Skip DeGroff for the Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinder win.
Girl Scout Night is one of the more popular events on the calendar and this year will be no different.
Amy Holland and Taylor Jackson will have their cars on display in the midway behind the grandstands. Amy and Taylor will be available for pictures, autographs, and to answer questions.
In honor of Mother’s Day the Speedway will be giving out flowers from “Flowers & Things” out of Sodus.
The Fulton Speedway is pleased to welcome back K-Rock to the racing action on the “High Banks.” K-Rock, the area’s most popular rock station features the best of today’s hard hitting rock and on-air personalities and bloggers can be heard on K-Rock 100.9 and 106.5 in the Syracuse area and 94.9 in the Utica area, or you can listen online at www.syracusekrock.com and like their Facebook page – www.facebook.com/CNYKROCK
