Keith F. Plato, 72, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 19, 2011 with his family by his side.
Born in Utica to his late parents, Edwin and Minnie (Hardman) Plato on December 15, 1938. He resided in the Phoenix, NY area between 1969 and 2005. Keith was a route driver for Wonder Bread Co., Syracuse.
He is predeceased by his son Joseph W. Plato in 1997; and his two brothers, and one sister.
Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Kathleen (Bennett) Plato; sons George Hall (Cindy Pittsley) of Mallory, Richard (Cindy) Plato of Rochester; daughters Melissa Plato (Dawn Signorino) of Citrus Springs, FL, Caroline (Kevin) Blewett and Mary (Chuck) Martin all of Baldwinsville, Lorraine (Dominic) Militano of Utica, Diane (Tony) Scalise of Palm City, FL, Theresa (Peter) Gagliano of Utica; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three special friends, Robert Weston, Robert Jennings, and David White. Keith loved spending time with his youngest grandkids, Jordan, Coby and Jenna Martin.
He was an avid card player and enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Calling hours Friday October 21, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home Phoenix. Services are on Saturday at 10 am at the funeral home, 431 Main St., with the Pastor James Pannafino officiating. Burial in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St., Phoenix, NY 13135.
