Kenneth Abraham, 69


Kenneth Abraham, 69, of Fulton, passed away Friday, May 27 at the VA Medical Center, Syracuse.

Born in Scranton, PA he was a long time resident of the Fulton area. Ken retired after 40 years in the transportation business. He was a Marine Corp veteran serving from 1960 to 1964.

He was predeceased by his parents, A. Kenneth and Mary Boshek Abraham.

Ken is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen Forbes Abraham of Fulton; four sons, Kenneth, Daniel (Dolores), David and Matthew (Rhonda), all of Fulton; two brothers, Ronald of AZ and Gaylord of Fulton; two sisters, Elsiemarie Tucci of Fulton and Nancy (Clifford) Dann of Fulton; five grandchildren, Dane, Desirae, Amanda, Zachery and Tyler Abraham; two step-grandchildren, Josh and D. Janelle Collins; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were private. Contributions in memory of Ken may be made to the VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave., Syracuse, 13210 or American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., P.O. Box 7, E. Syracuse, 13057. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has charge of arrangements.

    Ken and his family grew up across the street from us on Denesha place . Ken was a great guy growing up and and I’m sure was a great dad and husband as he got older . My thoughts and prayers are with Ken’s family and I’m sure heaven just got a little brighter with Ken up there .
