Kenneth E. Ellis, 80

Kenneth E. Ellis, 80, a life resident of Fulton, died Saturday at the Manor at Seneca Hill.

Ken was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Fulton V.F.W. Post #569 and State Street United Methodist Church.

Ken is survived by his daughter, Gail McDonald of West Newton, MA; a son, Bryan Ellis of Marlboro, MA; sister, Janet (Neil) Lockwood of Fulton; four brothers, Charles (Ethel) Ellis of Florida, Francis Ellis of Kansas, Harold Ellis of Buffalo and David Ellis of Washington; a brother-in-law, Thomas DuBois of Scriba; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ken requested that his body be donated to science. There are no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at a later date in North Volney Cemetery. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.

    Mayor Woodward and I wish to express our deepest sympathies to all of those touched by Ken’s passing. Ken fought for our country and lived an honorable life. Even now, in his passing, he showed what a great person he was by donating his body to help others. This kind of man cannot be replaced. He will be missed.
