HANNIBAL, NY – Kenneth L. Burns, 78, of Hannibal, passed away Saturday February 3, 2018, at University Hospital, Syracuse.

Ken worked as an assistant manager for Rite Aid and as a manager for Mirabito’s.

He enjoyed hunting and golfing, and in retirement he began woodworking making rustic furniture.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, William and Isabel Bouchey Burns; and siblings, William Burns, Ronald Burns and Susan Bush.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Connie Burns; children, Ken Burns, Amy Burns, Kari (Gregory King) Burns and Wendi (Timothy) Stone; grandsons, Benjamin and Owen Stone and Zachary King; and a sister, Bonnie Burns of Ogdensburg.

As were Ken’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services.

    Our condolences to the Burns family. My *father worked with Ken at Mirabito’s for a number of years. He was a well respected man. (*Bob Kimball, meat manager at Mirabito’s) please except our sincere sympathy.

    Sorry to hear of Ken’s passing I knew him from my involvement in the Grocery store business.

    Ken was always helpful and we have missed his presence at the store after he retired.
