FULTON, NY – Kenneth W. Richards, 91, of Fulton, died Saturday June 21, 2014, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
He was born in Fulton to the late George and Iva (Dolbear) Richards.
Mr. Richards was a United States World War II veteran having served in the Army Air Force from 1942 to 1945.
He retired from Sealright Co., Fulton, where he worked as a machinist for several years.
Mr. Richards is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marion Richards of Fulton; two daughters, Kathy (Al Kieswetter) Richards of Messina, NY, and Kim (Martin) Roarke of Fulton; three siblings, Karl Richards of Fulton, Austa Koes of Oswego and Keller Richards of Fulton; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Richards was predeceased by four siblings, Thelma, Nila, Norma and Kyle.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church, County Route 176, Fulton, where Rev. Vivian Summerville will be officiating.
Burial will be held in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Volney.
There will be a calling hour conducted from 9 – 10 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church.
The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc. 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, has care of the arrangements.
The family has requested that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Mr. Richards’ honor.
