Kenney Students Honored for Achievements

Dennis M. Kenney Middle School students were recently honored for their academic success and excellent attendance throughout the third quarter.

Students received certificates of recognition in their classrooms before joining together in the school cafeteria for a breakfast pizza party where a random prize drawing also took place.

Principal Dee Froio was elated that more than half of the school population was honored and offered congratulatory remarks while praising students for their academic achievements.

Froio also challenged honorees to encourage classmates to excel in academics throughout the final quarter so they too could be recognized.
