OSWEGO, NY – Citing the need to support middle class jobs and strengthen our economy, Laborers Local 633 announced its endorsement of Billy Barlow for mayor of Oswego.
Barlow has also received the support and endorsement of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 73 and will be announcing additional endorsements in the coming weeks.
“We are proud to stand behind Billy and support his campaign for mayor. He has the vision needed to move Oswego forward and is not afraid to stand up and fight for middle class jobs. He is committed to doing everything possible to save FitzPatrick and ensure the future of our other local employers. We look forward to working with Billy and continuing to strengthen the relationship between labor, business, and local governments,” said, Joe “Pep” Solazzo, Business Agent, Laborers Local 633.
“It is an honor to have the support and endorsement of Local 633 and its hard working members. Oswego needs strong, independent leadership and I look forward to leading the fight to create middle class jobs and hold the line on taxes. As mayor, I will work to bring our community together and increase the quality of life in our neighborhoods. I will continue my efforts to knock on doors and talk with voters directly regarding the important issues facing our community over the coming weeks,” said Barlow.
Barlow is running with the endorsement of the Republican, Conservative, and Independence parties.
