LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM MONDAY.

LOCATIONS: ACROSS OSWEGO COUNTY.

TIMING: THROUGH EARLY MONDAY AFTERNOON.

ACCUMULATIONS: 5 TO 10 INCHES TODAY. 2 TO 4 INCHES TONIGHT.
AND 1 TO 2 INCHES MONDAY IN PERSISTENT BANDS.

STORM TOTALS OF 6 TO 12 INCHES ACROSS THE TUG HILL PLATEAU AND 4 TO 7 INCHES ACROSS THE REST OF THE COUNTY.

WINDS: NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH.

VISIBILITIES: AS LOW AS A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES IN BLOWING AND FALLING SNOW.

IMPACTS: LOCALIZED BANDS OF HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL  RESULT IN SNOW COVERED ROADS AND GREATLY REDUCED VISIBILITIES AT TIMES. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 81.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: IN LAKE EFFECT SNOW THE WEATHER CAN VARY FROM LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW IN NARROW BANDS TO CLEAR SKIES JUST A FEW MILES AWAY.
