Laker Hockey To Host Elmira

OSWEGO, N.Y. – The third-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team will host No. 11 Elmira in the NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey quarterfinal round on Saturday, March 10 at 7 p.m.

Both squads received at-large bids from the NCAA Selection Committee.

Oswego State enters the game with a record of 22-3-2, while the Soaring Eagles are 15-8-3.

The game can be seen over the Internet, heard on the radio, or watched on Campus Channel 10 and Local Channel 96.

Last year, the Lakers defeated Bowdoin, 7-5, in the quarterfinal round to advanced to the NCAA semifinals in Minneapolis. Elmira lost to Adrian, 5-3, in the quarterfinal round one season ago.

The winner of Saturday’s game will face the winner of the Amherst/Plattsburgh game on Friday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Lake Placid.

Tickets are still available for the game.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $3 for college students with valid college ID.
