  1. Lance always looked out for me as a kid. He had lived with us on and off when i was a teen and always protected me from the bad elements of life. I will always remember him playing catch with me in the back yard of our apartment. He saw that he could help foster some of the talents that I had as a young kid. I will always be thankful for those moments with him.

  2. Dear Devendorf family,
I remember visiting with your family as a child. My mother, Lois Turner, was a friend to your parents.
I had a little crush on Lance. He carried me back to your house in the country after I lost a boot in the not so frozen pond.
Funny the things one recalls when prompted by such sad news.
My heart goes out to you all. I know the pain of losing a sibling and I am truly sorry for your loss.
    Patti Turner

  3. To my family,
prayers and condolences for you at this most difficult time. I just heard of Lances passing this morning. I grew up with Lance in Fulton, brings a smile to my face to think of all the shenanigans we used to pull. He was my friend my nephew and Ipray that he rests in peace until we meet again.
    Much Love,
    Uncle Tim
