Lanigan Bingo Night Hits The Jackpot

Fourth grade students at Lanigan Elementary School teamed up with the school’s Parent-Teacher Group to host the school’s first Family Bingo Night. The event was held in Lanigan’s cafeteria in early October and the evening hit the jackpot with more than 200 Lanigan family and friends turning out to support the students’ fundraising efforts. Proceeds from the event will support the fourth grade students' upcoming field trip to WonderWorks in Syracuse to participate and experience some fun and hands-on science activities. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, the Lanigan community was able to celebrate the evening with food, raffles, and entertainment. In addition, the hard working fourth graders made the night complete by manning a food stand, making flyers/posters, calling the Bingo numbers, and distributing the winning prizes.
