Students learned about Fulton’s rich history and old-time holiday traditions.
Throughout the two-story house tour given by director of displays Alec Seymour, students voted for their favorite decorated Christmas tree to help local groups win small cash prizes from the museum’s annual Parade of Trees event.
First graders were excited to see the New York State-themed tree decorated with handmade ornaments by Lanigan’s fourth grade classes.
First grade Teacher Karrie Schremp said the field trip tied into many academic modules about community.
