OSWEGO, NY ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ The Oswego Farmers’ Market continues Thursday, from 5 to 9 p.m. on West First Street.
This weekÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s market will feature a special live performance by Larry Kyle and Dam Dog.
ItÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s also SUNY Night as the market officially welcomes back SUNY Oswego students to downtown.
Members of SUNY OswegoÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Auxiliary Services will have a booth at the market to greet students and market goers alike.
In addition to distributing information about SUNY Oswego, they will also be selling officially licensed clothing and memorabilia and encouraging community members to wear green and yellow on Sept. 26 in recognition of College Colors Day, an event to help build pride for the college and the community.
This yearÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s farmersÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ market hosts more than 50 vendors offering a great selection of fresh produce, homemade baked goods, crafts and more.
Market goers will also have the opportunity to help grow the Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival by purchasing 50 / 50 raffle tickets.
Tickets will be available at the chamber booth each week of the market.
The winning ticket will be drawn during the pumpkin festival at 3 p.m. on Oct. 5 in Washington Square Park.
You need not be present to win.
The chamber would like to remind everyone that for the safety of the pet, as well as the general public, animals are prohibited from the market.
