Food and drink will be available at the open house as well as music by Tiger with Mike Place.

Lavery finished the 2014 Novelis Supermodified season at Oswego Speedway in the fifth position in the driver’s point championship behind the wheel of the No. 22 Supermodified that will be on display Saturday.

A veteran of Supermodified racing and a feature winner in 2013, Lavery scored three top five finishes and nine top ten runs on his way to a top five finish in the season long championship.

Lavery’s runner-up finish with the Double Deuce Supermodified in the Budweiser International Classic this season was a career best, worth more than $8,000, trailing only four time Classic champion Otto Sitterly.

The Double Deuce No. 22 Supermodified will be a treat for open house visitors, as the 900-HP, 1,800-pound machine is the same racer that sat on the pole for the Budweiser International Classic in 2010, 2012, and 2013, circling the Steel Palace oval at an average speed of more than 138 mph.
