FULTON – In honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, the City of Fulton today recognizes the dedication and service of the brave men and women who protect and serve our community. Held annually on January 9th, Law Enforcement Appreciation Day offers an opportunity for residents to thank officers for their commitment to public safety.
Mayor James Rice, alongside the City Council and Police Chief Michael Curtis, expressed their gratitude for the hard work and sacrifices of the Fulton Police Department and law enforcement officers across the nation.
“Our law enforcement officers are the backbone of our community, working tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of all our residents,” said Mayor Rice. “Today, we stand united in expressing our gratitude for their unwavering commitment and the sacrifices they make every day to protect us.”
The City of Fulton invites the community to participate in this special day by expressing appreciation to officers, whether through a simple ‘thank you,’ or by attending a local event or ceremony.
