OSWEGO COUNTY – Earlier this morning, at around 10:03 AM, a pursuit involving a vehicle began at the Public Safety Center because a vehicle was driving suspiciously through the Corrections Officers’ parking lot, while making threatening remarks. As the vehicle left, several traffic violations were witnessed by law enforcement. This incident occurred prior to the arrival of children and legislators for Government Day and was an incident that had no relation to that event.
The vehicle was eventually stopped on State Route 104 in the Town of New Haven. A loaded weapon was found in the vehicle, and the driver of the vehicle is currently in custody. More information will be released later.
