MEXICO – Learn about nature’s buffet at Mexico Point Park.
The Native Americans and early settlers knew how to survive without supermarkets and fast food outlets and so can you.
Nature’s buffet is bountiful if you know where to look and how to use what is available.
Be part of the “Field to Fork” movement and learn what wild things you eat – for free.
You will never go hungry again.
Learn what you can eat and prepare with Nancy Kaiser as your guide.
She will give a powerpoint presentation with tasty treats followed by a “shopping” trip in nature’s store.
The presentation will start in Casey’s Cottage followed by a nature walk.
Tours of the cottage will be available.
There are two hiking trails at the park.
Mark your calendar: “Wild Edibles Sunday,” May 22, 2 p.m. in Casey’s Cottage at Mexico Point Park, 104B.
