Lee E. Perry Sr., 77

OSWEGO, NY – Lee E. Perry Sr., 77, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2016, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Oswego, he was raised by Anita Pryor and Ronald Yacketta and had attended Oswego schools.

He was employed with Nestles for 38 years.

Mr. Perry was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed softball and bowling and was an avid Yankees fan.

Surviving are two sons, (Tiger) Lee E. (Crystal) Perry of Oswego and Myke (Nicole) Perry of New Haven; two daughters, Rose (Dennis) Kimball of Fulton and Ellen (Donnie) Knosp of Oswego; two brothers, Robert Perry and Ronald Yacketta; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Dowdle Funeral Home.

  1. Sad to hear of Mr. Perry’s passing, haven’t seen him in a long time but recall him always being a nice guy to talk too…with a sly sense of humor as well. Lee, if you need anything don’t hesitate! RIP Mr. Perry!

  2. So sad to hear about Lee…He was such a fun man…We all enjoyed his humor down in the Coating Dept…He was always the same.

  3. Wow this is sad May he rest in peace he was raised by my sister’s grandmother and was a great person I’m sorry to hear of his passing his family is in my thoughts and my prayers I only met him a few times but he was a fun person and very caring and he passed that down to his kids
