Lee S. VanLinder, 80 of Fulton passed away Friday at University Hospital, Syracuse.
A native of Fulton, Mr. VanLinder was a life resident. He had owned and operated V&F Linoleum, Tile and Carpet in Pulaski from 1966 to 1975 when he retired. Previously he had worked as a floor covering installer for Litwak and Baker in Fulton for 15 years.
Mr. VanLinder was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Fulton. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Catherine J. Hyde, who passed away in 2005.
Surviving: daughter, Nancy J. (Joe) James of Fulton; son, David L. (Gaila) VanLinder of Fulton; sisters, Pat Leubner of Aurora, Sally Leubner of Auburn, and Irene Hall of Oswego; brother, Carl VanLinder of Fulton; step-mother, Juanita VanLinder of Fulton; grandchildren, Richard D. LaDue, Joseph VanLinder, Emily VanLinder and Darcy DiBiase; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton with burial at Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
