Legislature Proclaims Domestic Violence Awareness Month

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee presented a proclamation to members of Oswego County Opportunities’ Services to Aid Families designating October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

People are encouraged to wear the purple ribbon which symbolizes courage, honor, survival and dedication to ending domestic violence.
