Leona M. Le Clair, 85 of Fulton died Sunday at Sunrise Nursing Home in Oswego. Born in Little Texas, to the late Bert and Calla Parkhurst Smith, she had lived in Fulton for most of her life.
Leona retired in 1983 from Nestle Co. in Fulton after 39 years. She was a former member of the Fulton Women’s Bowling League and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles H. Le Clair, who died in 2002; a son, Robert Le Clair, who died in 1995; two sisters, Etta Keck and Erma Ingles; a son-in-law, Arthur Pitts who died in 1999. Surviving: a daughter, Mary E. Pitts of Red Creek; two sons, John H. (Shelly) Le Clair of Fulton and William C. (Deborah) Le Clair of Syracuse; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton.
Burial will be at Adnah Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
