Leonard Calkins, 73

FULTON, NY – Leonard “Lenny” Calkins, 73, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday September 5, 2012, at home.

He was born in Toledo, Ohio, a son to the late William D. and Rose M. Wright.

Lenny enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and then re-enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War.

Lenny retired in 2007 from O.R.C. Plastics.

He is survived by his children, David, Richard, Joyce, Sherry, Candice and Bambi; and several grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.

  1. I will always love and miss you dad you have been there for me more than anyone else and I am so glad that I took the time to do my best at helping you with what ever you needed help with. I LOVE YOU FOR EVER AND ALWAYS. You were a good man and in my mind and probably other people’s you always will be. You weren’t just a dad but a grandfather, uncle and brother and son. We will all miss you very much.
