Lessons, Carols and Candlelight at First United Church of Fulton on Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve Worship will be held on Friday, December 24th at 7:00 pm at the First United Church of Fulton. This traditional service will include the Christmas story from Scripture, the singing of long loved carols, and candlelight shared at the close of the service.

The Chancel Choir, directed by Burton Phillips, will bring the anthems. Ella Hicks will be the soloist for the carol “All the Beasts and the Children.” Worship Assistants will include Roxanne Seeber, Barbara Hubbard, and Alan De Line. Children will light the Christ Candle within the Advent Wreath. Burton Phillips will bring us “O Holy Night” during the Offertory, and he will also assist in German for the singing of Silent Night. June Dillon will serve as our organist.

On Sunday, December 25th, during the 11:00 am worship hour, the singing of Christmas carols will be a major feature of the service, especially those carols that have not been sung during the regular season of Advent and Christmas.

First United Church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA and the Presbyterian Church (USA). The congregation is active in the greater Fulton community through the Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches and many other avenues of sharing. The facility offers hearing assistance, and it is accessible to those who are physically handicapped.
