FULTON, NY – Christmas Eve Worship will be held on December 24 at 7 p.m. at the First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St.

This traditional service of ‘Lessons, Carols and Candlelight’ will include the Christmas story from Scripture, the singing of lovely carols and candlelight shared in a large circle at the close of the service.

Pastor David Nethercott will provide overall leadership in the service.

The Chancel Choir, directed by Gina Mazzoli, will bring two anthems.

Nicholas Hicks and Ella Hicks will each take part in doing solo carols on the cello.

Mazzoli will sing “O Holy Night” during the Offertory.

Scripture readers will include Roxanne Seeber, Barbara Hubbard and Cheryl Green.

Children will light the Christ Candle within the Advent Wreath.

Colleen Ingersoll will serve as our church organist.

On December 28, during the 11a.m. worship hour, the singing of Christmas carols will be a major feature of the service, especially those carols that have not been sung during the regular seasons of Advent and Christmas.

A fellowship time will follow the morning service.
