Let Us Make Your Pet Therapy Dreams Come True



OSWEGO – Do you know someone who has benefited from a pet therapy visit? Have you ever wanted to make a difference in your community with your pet? Have you dreamed of volunteering as a pet therapy team?

Pet Partners of Central New York will be at the Oswego Public Library on April 7 to make your dreams come true.


Pet Partners of Central New York invites you to attend a free, one-hour, informational presentation (followed by a question and answer session) to learn about our pet therapy program.

Led by experienced Pet Partners teams, our presentation will cover the steps of becoming a registered therapy animal team with your dog, cat, equine, rabbit, guinea pig, bird, miniature pig, rat, llama or alpaca.

Pet Partners of CNY is a local chapter of Pet Partners, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization registering therapy animal teams for animal-assisted therapy and activities.

Being a member of our pet therapy organization is a rewarding way to give back to your community.

Not only does it give you the opportunity to volunteer, but even more important, you get to spend quality time with your pet while enriching the lives of others.

Pet Partners, believes the human-animal bond is a mutually beneficial relationship that improves the physical, social, and emotional lives of those we serve.

Be the first to sign up for this free presentation to learn how to be a registered and insured Pet Partner Team, and have the ability to create your own visitation schedule with your pet at a variety of local facilities such as: hospitals, nursing homes, libraries, or schools.

If you are in need of a some pet therapy, the Oswego Library’s Pet Partner ‘Read With Me’ therapy dog, Ody, will be there to meet and greet you.
