OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Public Library’s Library Learning Center will offer a four-part Internet Basics workshop on October 1, 8, 15 and 22.
Each class is free and runs from 2 to 4 p.m.
This workshop will include topics such as how to connect to the Internet, how to use a web browser, searching for information, online privacy and safety, email and social media.
In addition to our introductory workshops, the Library Learning Center will feature Facebook, Computer Tune Up, Selling on Ebay, Computer Basics with Windows 8, iPad Assistance Lab, Internet Basics with Windows 8, Photosharing, Keyboarding Lab and Microsoft Powerpoint.
Dates and times are as follows:
October 3 – Facebook 10 a.m. to noon
October 6 – Computer Tune Up 10 a.m. to noon
October 8 – Selling on EBay 4:30-6:30 p.m.
October 17 – Computer Basics with Windows 8 10 a.m. to noon
October 20 – iPad Assistance Lab 10 a.m. to noon
October 24 – Internet Basics with Windows 8 10 a.m. to noon
October 27 – Photosharing 10 a.m. to noon
October 29 – Keyboarding Lab 2 – 4 p.m.
October 31 – Powerpoint 10 a.m. to noon
The Library Learning Center is located on the lower level of the Oswego Public Library and is open Monday-Friday.
All programs are free and open to the public.
