OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Public Library’s Library Learning Center will offer a three session Internet Basics workshop on May 4, 11 and 18 from 2 to 4 p.m.
This free workshop will include topics such as how to connect to the Internet, how to use a web browser, searching for information, online privacy and safety, email and social media.
In addition to our introductory workshops, the Library Learning Center will feature Job Assistance By Appointment (call for information), iPad Assistance Lab, Self-Publishing with Amazon, Facebook for Business, Microsoft Word, Writing Cover Letters Open Lab, and Photosharing Open lab.
May 6 – Writing Cover Letters Open Lab 10 a.m. – noon
May 8 – Self-Publishing with Amazon 10 a.m. – noon
May 13 – iPad Assistance Lab 10 a.m. – noon
May 16 – Facebook for Business 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
May 27 – Photosharing Open Lab 10 a.m. – noon
May 27 – Microsoft Word 2 – 4 p.m.
The Library Learning Center is located on the lower level of the Oswego Public Library and is open Monday-Friday.
All programs are free and open to the public.
