Library Receives Signed Copy Of New Children’s Book

The Oswego Public Library is pleased to receive a signed copy of Read It, Don’t Eat It! written and illustrated by Ian Schoenherr. His aunt, Marian Chermack a resident of Oswego, donated the copy to the children of the Oswego Public Library. His cousin Lisa Chermach, worked at one time in the library’s children’s room.

Ian Schoenherr grew up—reading—near Locktown, New Jersey. He has written and illustrated two books, Cat & Mouse and Pip & Squeak, and illustrated numerous books by other authors, including Little Raccoon’s Big Question, by Miriam Schlein. The artist lives in Woodside, Queens.
