MEXICO – The Oswego County Head Start Pre-School program will sponsor a literacy event.
The event will be hosted by the Mexico Library on November 23 from 11 a.m. to noon.
The public is invited to attend this event at no charge.
Head Start staff will be reading a story and providing materials for the children to complete an activity revolving around the chosen story.
Additional staff will be available to answer questions and assist families wishing to apply for enrollment of their children into the program.
The Head Start Pre-School program’s major goal is School Readiness and Family Engagement. Research shows parents who are involved in their child’s education have greater academic outcomes.
Please plan to join us on November 23 to learn about all the wonderful services Head Start has to offer children and families in Oswego County.
