OSWEGO, NY – Little Lukes Childcare staff will be having fun with Autism Awareness this April as an official sponsor of the upcoming “Family Fun Walk For Autism.”
It will take place on April 30 at Leighton Elementary School and the Wilber Track and Field from 11a.m. to 2 p.m.
This marks the fifth year the Oswego County Autism Task Force is organizing the walk for awareness of Autism in Oswego County.
“We are very fortunate to have the enthusiastic staff of Little Lukes with us for the event once again providing a safe and fun environment for all of the young children who attend this event,” noted Theresa Familo, the OCATF chair.
Little Lukes is a provider of inclusion preschool classrooms, early intervention and preschool therapy services and are exited to have the chance to volunteer their time for autism awareness, said program director Denise McDougall.
The event is free and open to the public.
However, registration is recommended.
