Sign-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program starting promptly at 9 a.m.

Open to anyone interested in learning about the many services and programs that are available to youth in Oswego County, the Youth Program Forum will provide youth service providers with an opportunity to share information on their programs while learning about other youth programs that exist in Oswego County.

“This is a great opportunity for youth services providers to come together and show the community what they have to offer the youth of Oswego County, as well as inform them about careers and employment opportunities that exist in their organization,” said Brian Chetney, Executive Director of the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and chair of the event’s planning committee.

Chetney explained that the format of the forum will allow for agency representatives to present a short synopsis of their particular program.

Each agency will also be able to display and distribute information about their youth programs to those in attendance.

Presenters include CITI, Catholic Charities, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Poison Control and many more.

“The Youth Forum is an excellent example of our human services agencies working together to help achieve a common good…helping our youth and families,” said Patrick Dewine, executive director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

For more information on the Youth Forum contact Chetney at the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau, phone 349-3451 or e-mail [email protected]

Individuals and organizations who are not presenting information who wish to attend the event do not need to pre-register.
