“We are lucky to welcome back Food and Beverage Sponsors including GJP Italian Eatery, the Beacon Hotel, the Kinney Drugs Foundation, and David Mirabito with Financial Partners of Upstate New York,” said Lexie Wallace, United Way resource development director. “This year, we are also grateful to add the Painters District Council 4 as one of the sponsors that will help provide a gourmet meal to the nearly 200 golfers participating in our tournament.”

Wallace said the annual fundraiser would not be possible without support from so many local businesses and individuals.

“Eagle Beverage and Pepsi Company. are generously providing our drinks for the day, and Frito-Lay, Wal-Mart, and Bosco’s Meats contributed toward the snacks we will have available for golfers and volunteers,” said Wallace. “We appreciate all of the support we have received, from businesses contributing raffle prize donations to the more than 30 organizations that offered tee sponsorships. The golf tournament truly shows what can be accomplished when we live united.”

The 24th annual United Way Golf Tournament will take place on July 8 at the Oswego Country Club with tee times at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
