Local Students Receive Scholarships at Clarkson University


POTSDAM, NY – Clarkson University has announced recipients of endowed, sponsored, and Share Clarkson scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Michael A. Baker of Central Square, N.Y., a senior majoring in mechanical engineering received the Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Wagner Endowed Scholarship.

Tyler M. Virkler of Phoenix, N.Y., a senior majoring in engineering and management received the John Ben Snow Foundation Endowed Scholarship.

Michaela E. Mascaro of Central Square, N.Y., a senior majoring in civil engineering received the Cala Family Endowed Scholarship.

Austin E. DeMott of Oswego, N.Y., a senior majoring in engineering and management received the Wallace H. Coulter Endowed Scholarship.

Daniel M. Wahl of Fulton, N.Y., a senior majoring in chemical engineering received the John Ben Snow Foundation Endowed Scholarship and the Nancy E. and James F. ’64 Wood Endowed Scholarship.

Benjamin J. Ewald of Pennellville, N.Y., a senior majoring in electrical engineering received the H. Douglas and Sara Barclay Endowed Scholarship and the John F. Frazier ’38 & L.K. Sillcox Endowed Scholarship.

Brian J. Garrett of Phoenix, N.Y., a senior majoring in software engineering received the Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Wagner Endowed Scholarship.

Allison Faye Pandich of Constantia, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in communication received the H. Douglas and Sara Barclay Endowed Scholarship.

Tyler Shane Loveless of Pennellville, N.Y., a junior majoring in chemical engineering received the A. Douglas Burrow ’31 Endowed Scholarship.

Jacqueline Elizabeth Novak of Pulaski, N.Y., a junior majoring in environmental engineering received the A. Douglas Burrow ’31 Endowed Scholarship.

Olivia Mascaro of Central Square, N.Y., a junior majoring in political science received the Cala Family Endowed Scholarship.

Cameron J. Prior of Fulton, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in aeronautical engineering received the Joel ’57 and Lynda Goldschein Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Gabrielle A. Griffin of Sterling, N.Y., a junior majoring in psychology received the Elwyn J. Rodee Endowed Scholarship and the Thomas Edward Simpkins ’30 Endowed Scholarship.

Mark Anthony Taormina of Oswego, N.Y., a freshman majoring in chemistry received the Frank C. Goodrich Memorial Endowed Scholarship.

Joshua D. Williams of Cleveland, N.Y., a senior majoring in engineering and management received the John Ben Snow Foundation Endowed Scholarship.
