Local Students to Attend Clarkson University


POTSDAM, NY – The following students will attend Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., as members of the Class of 2016:

Alex Bateman of Fulton, N.Y., a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School. Bateman will be majoring in civil engineering.

Daniel Wahl of Fulton, N.Y., a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School. Wahl will be majoring in chemical engineering.

Brian Garrett of Fulton, N.Y., a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School. Garrett will be majoring in engineering studies.

Colton Braun of Fulton, N.Y., a graduate of Hannibal Central School. Braun will be majoring in mechanical engineering.

Tyler Virkler of Phoenix, N.Y., a graduate of John C Birdlebough High School. Virkler will be majoring in engineering studies.

Shane Young of Pennellville, N.Y., a graduate of John C Birdlebough High School. Young will be majoring in mechanical engineering.

Douglas Hillpot of Pennellville, N.Y., a graduate of John C Birdlebough High School. Hillpot will be majoring in business studies.

Benjamin Ewald of Pennellville, N.Y., a graduate of John C Birdlebough High School. Ewald will be majoring in chemical engineering.

Louis Arena of Mexico, N.Y., a graduate of Mexico Academy And Central School. Arena will be majoring in aeronautical engineering.

Bryan Cary of Oswego, N.Y., a graduate of Oswego High School. Cary will be majoring in engineering studies.

Austin DeMott of Oswego, N.Y., a graduate of Oswego High School. DeMott will be majoring in mechanical engineering.

Monica George of Oswego, N.Y., a graduate of Oswego High School. George will be majoring in chemical engineering.

Jacob Getman of Oswego, N.Y., a graduate of Oswego High School. Getman will be majoring in engineering studies.

Alexander Shannon of Oswego, N.Y., a graduate of Oswego High School. Shannon will be majoring in mechanical engineering.

Michaela Mascaro of Central Square, N.Y., a graduate of Paul V Moore High School. Mascaro will be majoring in engineering studies.

Cassia Chapman of Central Square, N.Y., a graduate of Paul V Moore High School. Chapman will be majoring in biomolecular science.

Kyle Connelly of Bernhards Bay, N.Y., a graduate of Paul V Moore High School. Connelly will be majoring in mathematics.

Dylan Davis of Sandy Creek, N.Y., a graduate of Sandy Creek Central School. Davis will be majoring in environmental engineering.

“We look forward to having these students join us on campus in August,” said Dean of Admissions Brian T. Grant.
