UTICA, NY – The NEAC Conference announced its 2013-14 NEAC Scholar-Athlete selections on Tuesday, with 511 student-athletes from the conference’s 16 member institutions receiving the honor. In order to qualify, student-athletes must have maintained a combined 3.4 GPA or higher over the 2013-14 fall and spring semesters.
Included among the honorees were:
Kaitlyn Harrington of Central Square, a senior majoring in Civil Engineering Tech.
Erika Reakes of Central Square, a sophomore majoring in Biology
SUNYIT athletes garnered 45 selections, which is up from the school’s 35 selections last year and 16 selections in 2011-12.
SUNYIT, the State University of New York Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome, is New York’s public polytechnic, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in technology and professional studies.
