Comprised of local musicians who have performed with several well-known local bands over the years, Long Time Coming formed in 2012 at the suggestion of bass player, Jim Dillabough.

“I thought about how many times we said to each other we need to get together and jam.  When we finally did we realized that it was our turn to make some great music, have fun and create memories for all to share.  It really was a long time coming, but we’ve formed a great band and L.T.C. is here,” explained Dillabough.

With a play list that features music from The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young to name a few, L.T.C. brings to the stage a mix of what people love to hear and dance to.

Dillabough added that even some blues and a few country tunes have been known to fly off the stage.

“I’m sure when you hear Long Time Coming you won’t be able to keep your feet still and that’s what it’s all about, dancing, fun and good friends. When these three things are mixed together they make great memories and we’re looking forward to making some at the CNY Great Pumpkin Festival,” said Dillabough.

Scheduled for October 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and October 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the CNY Great Pumpkin Festival will fill Washington Square Park with crafters, fresh from the farm produce, food vendors, music, and games and rides for children of all ages.

The Great Pumpkin Weigh-In will take place on October 4 beginning at 10 a.m.

Just Push Play Productions will serve as emcee for the weigh-in.

The giant pumpkins will be on display at the CNY Great Pumpkin Festival Oct. 4 only.
