OSWEGO, NY – Losurdo Racing and driver Anthony Losurdo will be putting on their annual Oswego Speedway Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super racing fundraiser February 22 at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego beginning at noon.
The fundraiser will feature barbeque chicken or pulled pork dinners for $10.
Running until 5 p.m. on Sunday, fans are encouraged to join Losurdo Racing at Lighthouse Lanes to watch the 57th annual Daytona 500, kicking off the new racing season.
Announced earlier this year, Losurdo Racing will join forces with Four Sevens Motorsports in 2015, with young Losurdo piloting a brand new FFB No. 1 chassis this season as a teammate to former series champion Mike Bond.
Losurdo had a breakout sophomore season in 2014, driving to his first two career Small Block Super main event wins and a finish of third in the series standings behind Andrew Schartner and Kreig Heroth.
Named the division’s most improved driver one year ago, Losurdo looks to continue his momentum into 2015 with the help and guidance of new teammate, Bond.
Oswego Speedway’s 2015 racing season will kick off on May 9 with the 65th annual opening night celebration featuring the lid lifters for the Novelis Supermodifieds and Pathfinder Bank SBS, as well as the 75-lap Richie Evans Memorial for the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series presented by Planet Fitness and Mitchell’s Speedway Press.
