OSWEGO, NY – Louise H. Vivlamore, 80, a resident of 102 Erie St. in Oswego, passed away Saturday Aug. 7, 2010, in The Manor at Seneca Hill.
Louise was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Richard and Catherine (Cahill) White.
She was a life resident.
She was the wife of the late Robert Vivlamore.
She was a graduate of St. Maryâ€™s School and Oswego High School.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the snack bar at Oswego Hospital for 20 years.
She had formerly worked, for 20 years, at the A&P Supermarket and had previously worked at Youngâ€™s Soda Shop and Johnsonâ€™s Supermarket.
Louise was a member of the VFW Post #5885 Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Ancient Order of Hibernians Auxiliary and the Oswego Hospital Auxiliary.
Louise was a very religious woman, who had a vibrant smile and a caring personality.
She was a lifelong communicant of St. Maryâ€™s Church.
Her granddaughters were the most important thing in Louiseâ€™s life. She loved to see them grow and mature.
She is survived by her daughter, Tress Biancavilla of Oswego; her two grandchildren, Catherine Biancavilla of Oswego and Jessica (Matthew) Bailey of Oswego; her dear friend of 28 years, Zona Pospesel of Oswego; a brother, Raymond Earl Wilmott of Oswego; a sister, Margaret Fitzgerald of Oswego; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, James White, Francis â€œJumperâ€ Cahill and Austin â€œEddieâ€ Wilmott; a sister, Dorothy Merritt; and a special niece, Rebecca Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in St. Maryâ€™s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peterâ€™s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St. in Oswego.
