Nearly 100 third grade and fourth grade chorus members from Palermo, New Haven and Mexico elementary schools joined together to sing “O Canada” on the ice at a recent Syracuse Crunch hockey game in front of more than 6,000 spectators.
MACS teachers Glen Gagnier, Theresa Rutkowski and Lenora Salzer prepared the combine chorus for the special event and the students themselves put forth extra effort for the big day.
After their performance, the students and their families enjoyed the high-energy hockey game.
The MACS community has been proud to support the arts and expanded community efforts to help its students achieve their musical dreams.
