Film and talkback: “Even the Rain”
The 2010 Spanish film “También la Lluvia” is about a Spanish film crew that comes to Bolivia to make a revisionist epic about the conquest of Latin America, with Gael García Bernal. Dr. Lisa M. Artist talk by Glenn Zansitis

Readings: “Explore Global Literature”
In celebration of National Foreign Language Week, SUNY Oswego faculty and students will read foreign language selections from favorite authors and briefly explain the themes and ideas expressed. 25th anniversary reception for the SUNY Oswego community centered on a new display of SUNY Oswego faculty and professional staff works, such as publications and programs for shows and performances, in Penfield Library’s display cases. Actor and writer Deborah Jean Templin performs “Unsinkable Women: Stories and Songs from the Titanic,” a play about women from diverse backgrounds who survived the Titanic. Rice Creek Ramble
This “Track Tales” ramble will start at the main building. Participants should dress for the weather and call 315-312-6677 the morning of the hike to check trail conditions. Faculty concert: “A Musical Journey”
A historical musical journey exploring composers and their innovative solo wind literature — Debussy, Nielsen, Purcell, Persechetti, Goedecke and Stevens. Performances by clarinetist Trevor Jorgensen, trumpeter Terry Caviness and pianist Robert Auler of SUNY Oswego’s music faculty. Relief Run 5K
Fundraiser themed “Be a Different Kind of Superhero.” SUNY Oswego’s Red Cross Club will donate the money raised to the American Red Cross Disaster Services. Rice Creek Story Hour: “The Stranger”

SUNY Oswego Relay for Life
12-hour fundraiser to fight cancer. Relay for Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running. Each team is asked to have at least one participant on course at all times.
