MEXICO – Second Annual “March Meatball Madness” Spaghetti Dinner will be held on March 18.
Who really does have the most delicious meatballs in Oswego County?
Will Canale’s win for the second year in a row?
Come join us at the Mexico VFW, located on Route 3, to find out and to also support our local “Blessings in a Backpack” program.
We plan to start serving dinners at 4 p.m. and continue serving them until 6:30 p.m.
At 5 p.m., our hand-selected judges will begin taste testing meatballs from these 6 locations who have graciously donated them to the cause: Daddy Ed’s, The Eis House, Bosco and Geer’s Market, Canale’s, Vona’s and Paul’s Big M.
The winner will have the right to display a perpetual plaque donated by Lupien’s Gifts & Engraving for the upcoming year.
Dinners will include: spaghetti and meatballs, tossed salad, dinner roll (donated by Stefano’s) and homemade desserts.
Take-outs will be available.
For your listening pleasure, the “Oswego Barbershop Chorus” will be providing musical entertainment during parts of the event.
Prices are as follows: Veterans: $5, Adults: $10, children 6-12: $6 and children 5 and under eat free.
All proceeds from this event will go toward feeding elementary school age children in the Blessings in a Backpack program in the Mexico School district.
Thank you in advance from the United Baptist Church of Scriba for supporting our “Second Annual March Meatball Madness Spaghetti Dinner.”
We hope to see you there.
