Margaret E. “Betty” Frawley, 92, of Fulton died Wednesday at St. Luke Health Services.
Betty was born in Fulton on September 7, 1918, the second child of Synon and Theodosia (Meagher) Frawley. She graduated from Fulton High School and Rochester Business Institute. Betty retired in 1981 after 40 years employment with Armstrong World Industries. Upon her retirement, she served as a Volunteer Nurse’s Aide at Lee Memorial Hospital.
Betty was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception where she served as a Lector for several years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, John, Joseph and Edward Frawley; three sisters, Helen Frawley, Katherine Frawley Smith and Ann Frawley Besaw; three nephews, Daniel, Bruce and Timothy Frawley and one niece, Colleen Smith Bacon.
Betty is survived by her sister, Rita Frawley of Fulton; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Jarvis Frawley and Dorothy Babicki Frawley both of Fulton; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews. Calling hours are private.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corner of Rochester & South Third Streets, Fulton. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
