Marion “Betty” Andrews, 77; formerly ofÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â Dewey Dr. Fulton and currently of Carthage, NY passed peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, August 11th at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse after a long illness.
She was born in Rome, NY and she has been a resident of Fulton for many years before moving in 2006.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Mrs. Andrews was a past member of the Snowdrifters Club.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â She was formerly employed by General Electric, Syracuse.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â She was also past employed with St. Joseph’s Hospital and Oswego Hospital as a home health aide.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Mrs. Andrews enjoyed doing crafts with her good friend Agnes King.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â She was a communicant of St. James Church, Carthage.
Mrs. Andrews was pre-deceased by her husband of 57 years Ronald Andrews in 2005 and her sister Audrey Marshall.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by her children:Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Daniel (Lori) Andrews of Clay, NY; Susan (Gary) Balch of Ballston Spa, NY, and Brenda (Bruce) Gayne of Carthage, NY; her brothers Thomas Mabb of TX, Ronald Mabb of Elbridge, NY, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Saturday at St. James Church, Carthage, NY.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Burial will be in Champion Hillside Cemetery, Carthage, NY.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Calling hours will be held 4:00 to 7:00 pm Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton, NY.
