Marlene Davis Taylor, 77

OSWEGO, NY – Marlene Davis Taylor, 77, passed away Friday evening March 28, 2014, at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.

Marlene was born in Meridian, NY, the daughter of the late Norris and Mary (Anklin) Davis.

She lived in the Oswego and Fulton area for most of her life.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an inspector with the Nestle’s Corp. in Fulton.

She is survived by a daughter, Kaylene Taylor of Baldwinsville; three grandchildren, Michael (Heidi) Solazzo of Pulaski, Brian (Erika) Solazzo of Scriba and Shaylene Bouchard of Baldwinsville; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Taylor; and two brothers, Richard Davis and Paul Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.


  1. My heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your Mom. I used to visit with her and we had some nice chats. My Mother worked a Nestles when your Mother was there, so before Mom passed she would wander over and say Hello to Marlene. She was a wonderful lady, and always said to me–“I knew you’d be back to visit.” Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Pat

  2. am so so sorry Marlene an i went to bowens corners school together an to Fulton it always stood out in my mind she never left her house without kissing her mom i thought that was so nice
